[Important Notice]

Dear applicants,

We regret to inform you that TLScontact will no longer be accepting visa applications on behalf of the Hungarian missions in China.

  • Visa Application Centres in Changsha, Guangzhou, Fuzhou, Jinan, Hangzhou, Kunming, Nanjing, Shenzhen, Shenyang, Wuhan and Xi’an will be closing on the 10th of August.
  • Visa Application Centres in Beijing and Shanghai will be closing on the 15th of August.

Receipt of the postal applications has been discontinued. If you have already registered online to apply by post and have paid your fees, please send your application to TLScontact Visa Application Centre as soon as possible.

We advise you to contact the Embassy or Consulates of Hungary in Shanghai and Chongqing in order to receive guidance on where you can lodge your visa application after the closing dates.

All applicants who are currently expecting their passport to be returned from the diplomatic missions will have a possibility to pick up the passport at the TLScontact Visa Application Centres until the 15th of September. If you have purchased courier return service, your passport will be shipped to you.

 

2.1 What will happen on the day of my appointment?

Please ensure that you plan your travel to arrive at the center slighter before your appointment time. Do not arrive too early as you may be asked to wait so that applicants arriving on time may be welcomed according to their appointment time.      

At the welcome area, please have:
- your appointment checklist,
- passport
- and application form ready for inspection.      

1. At the Welcome area, TLScontact agent will thoroughly check your documents for compliance with your application checklist.      

Please be informed that corrections on any type of application form are not accepted. All information on the application form must be correct the day of the appointment. If not, you will be invited to fill a new form.      

2. Waiting area: Your application ID (individual reference number without “M”) will be automatically called and shown on the screen when there is a counter available for you to submit the application.

3. At the Documentation area, you will then be issued with a submission confirmation document, which you must retain to retrieve your passport when it has been processed.      

4. After confirming the documentation, you will be invited to make payment of fees.      

5. After successful payment, you will be directed to the last step which is the biometric capture, if required. Please refer to Section 4 of the FAQ page for the questions related to the biometric data capture.
